F A Q
Question 1
Q: Can I bring my children on this trip? Is it recommended to bring them or leave them at home for the day?
A: These trips are targeted towards college students, so they are not suited for children. The minimum age for the children if they do come is 12 years old. Generally we would recommend leaving them at home as the rapids can be a bit more intense that beginner level.

Question 2
Q: How long does the trip last? Do I need to bring my own food and drink for the trip?
A: Generally the trip will take around 7 hours. This starts in the morning and goes past lunch, but you do not need to bring your own food unless you would like snacks of your own. Lunch is provided at around 4 hours into the trip and lasts 1 hour. The food is make your own sandwiches, but with tortillas instead of normal bread as it is easier to take down the river.
Question 3
Q: How many people can fit in one boat? Is it possible to add an extra is we have one over the limit?
A: Each boat can fit a total of 6 people, 3 on each side. This also includes the guide, so only 5 tourists will be able to fit in each. Due to safety reasons we cannot allow any more people onto any one single boat, but you will be able to ride on a different boat. It may not be with the group you came with, but it is safer than adding a 7th person to the boat.
